Title of research Effect of Water Management and Phosphorus rates on the Growth of Rice in a High-Arsenic Soil-Water System

Summary of Research:

Arsenic depressed rice yields, indicating phytotoxicity. Adding phosphorus to the soil reduced arsenic toxicity. Saturated soil conditions reduced arsenic toxicity compared to flooded soil conditions for all phosphorus levels.
